We have a Nissan Note 1.6 auto and want to purchase a caravan. Can anyone advise maximum wait we can pull please as we have seen conflicting weights. We are very experienced caravanners but have had to move to a smaller car.

Yes but what towcar gave a different amount so just wondered if anyone has a note and knows for sure. Difference is from 750kgs to 1050kgs which makes a vast difference to the caravan that you buy

Are you going to believe the manufacturer or somebody else who may have got it wrong? I looked into the Note some time ago and I think the auto towed a max of 750kg whilst the manual and diesel versions could tow a bit more. It would have towed our fc ok but we couldn't get a mobility scooter in the back of the car so had to look elsewhere.
To be honest the note is fairly small so would limit your choice of vans, as you are in stafford have a visit to freedom caravans, they specialise in lightweight tourers. We used to have a freedom sunseeker and loved it but outgrew it. They have a huge choice and we found thm really helpful.

I know it's not a Note but we tow a 2001 Fleurette Tamaris 31T (older version of the Trigano silver)with a Micra 1.5 diesel. Our van is 750k fully laden. We previously towed with a 1.2 Micra petrol, but the diesel has a bit more oomph. Your handbook will tell you the info. you need.
