It might be worth explaining that an alko stabiliser tightens up on the towball and grips it with a couple of brake pads. So that's why you never grease these.
If it's the most basic hook-up , all it will have is a single lever and be an aluminium colour, then these don't grip and you need some grease.
On an unbraked trailer tent you are likely to have the latter.
