I have just had an urgent request off my brother in law. He has just bought a caravan and needs to know what mirrors are legal before he tows it home? Please help?

If the caravan is wide enough that you cant see either side of it with the normal car mirrors, he needs some extention mirrors to clip to existing mirrors. He can buy them from his nearest Halfords or a caravan shop.
