A friend of mine had one and absolutely loved it as a car driving around. Think he ave 28-30 mpg.

He never towed with it though

Had a 05 model for a couple of years - great towing vehicle with 1500kg single axle behind.  Fuel consumption was b....y awful  - 20 mpg even solo,   never did long solo runs. Wee bit clumsy around town but I'm going to miss it when we go away this year.
