We have 2 tow cars, my husbands MK 2 Jaguar fitted with a Snakemaster and my Passat with nothing. My passat has a detachable witter tow bar.

We are towing a 1989 Bessecarr Cameo 420SLE so fairly light.

If we were to fit an Alco 1300 or similar to the van would this complicate matters and or make the Snakemaster redundant? Or can both be used together?

Sell the snakemaster & put the extra bit towards a 3004 instead of the 1300.

Damps pitching as well. No need for anything else then.

Just swap the towball on the Jaguar for the correct alko one.

It is not recommended by Al-Ko to use two stabilisers together; for over stressing their chassis and components reasons.
So if you fit an Al-Ko damped hitch the Snakemaster would be redundant.
