My diesel Tucson's service & cam belt change is due soon but want to try non-franchised dealer as quote from Hyundai dealer a shock.... I used to take my Vectra to local garages but is there any good ones near Runcorn, Cheshire.
I suppose it depends on your 5 year warranty, how far are you in to it? To comply with the terms and conditions you need to use Hyundai parts, but you can, as far as I know use a reputable mechanic or workshop to do the service and stamp and sign your service book.
Hi Pikerwoods,If you dont mind going over to Warrington, you could give Warrington Engine Centre a ring for a price(01925 231333/414900)?. We have all our vans from work serviced/repaired there. Service and price seems good, and they always seem busy which i think is a sign of a good garage.

just had mine done on our sata f'e at the 5 year service.do not know how old yours is but you could invalidate any warranty not using the main dealer.5 year service and cam belt change = £600
