I am looking to fit a Detachable swan neck tow bar and a 13 Pin socket to my car.

I'm thinking about going for the Westfalia bar and vehicle specific wiring kit, does anyone have any experience with fitting this and does it still need to go back to the dealer to get the computer updated so the car knows a towbar is now fitted?

why would the car have to have it on the computor just because you have a tow bar fitted? seems strange to me that one

Because the Mondeo adjusts the ESP to suit if towing, cancels rear for lamp and for trailer bulb warnings or so I have been told and trying to confirm.
