Camping and Caravanning Club's Carefree service will be able to advise you on all these points, as will the Caravan Club's equivalent, Red Pennant.

You won't be able to get Green Flag through the C+CC. Green Flag is available through the CC badged as Mayday. They also do European cover badged as Red Pennant.

The C+CC have an arrangement with the RAC for UK cover and operate European Cover called Carefree.

As you have a caravan rather than a tent I would recommend joining the CC and using Red Pennant for European cover. I have been with Mayday for a few years after moving from the RAC due to being very dissappointed with them. Mayday has offered a far superior service and cost less as well.

I cannot speak for Red Pennant as we do not tour Europe and therefore have not joined but I beleive it is still operated by Green Flag and therefore would expect the same service.

If your talking about the Aires on the side of major roads or motorways you can use them but it not advisable as people have mugged and broken into at night and the Aires of the major roads near town centres are signposted for Camping Cars (Motorhomes) only so caravanners can not use them
