I have never used one but I would be surprised if it were not excellent as the car always gets rave reports as a towcar.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
We had a T reg 1999 Vx Omega 2.5 td Auto back in 2002 and towed are Bailey Senator Oklahoma and it was an excellent towcar but we had problems with the Auto Box overheating on long motorway drags in France and we had an additional oil cooler from Kenlowe fitted and this cured the problem
