Hi everyone,

Our new caravan have a fully enclosed plastic shower cubicle. Was wondering if anyone has experienced problems after using these on a regular basis. Would like to use it rather than using on site facilities (with two young children would be easier than dragging them to a shower block) but was worried in case they increased the risk of damp.

What are your opinions on using them regularly?

We use ours with no problems so far, we never used our wetroom shower in our first van to avoid risk of damp but a sealed cubicle  should be no problem.

Our theory is they wouldn't fit them if they didn't want you to use them

Like you say much easier with kids

We can get two showers out of the 40litre aquaroll leaving it about 1/3rd full. The hot water lasts well in summer but in cold weather you can only get one shower. We have a 11litre water heater. Obviously in cold weather you need more hot water and less cold than in summer.

Our Ranger 510/4 has a lovely end washroom with enormous shower, but only has wall board . We use it regularly and always leave a window open. It has been fine in the 7 years we have used it.
