Followed one the other night, part of a fairground group that was passing through town.  He had to make some almighty swings to navigate traffic lights and suchlike, rather him than me!

I followed two such units from Inveraray to Oban. 40 miles of the slowest dammed journey I have ever done. They were too long for me to overtake on such a twisty road and nor would they fit into any lay byes to alow me to do so.

On the up side, it did allow me to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Showmen often pull several trailers, I have seen signs on them warning they're towing three trailers. Awkward in small villages I'd have thought.
