It depends on the engine size.
This info will be in the drivers handbook. If you do not have this, perhaps your local Vauxhall dealer will advise.
Hope this helps.

The caravan fully loaded (MTPLM) should idealy be no more than 85% of your Astra Estate and must also not exceed the max tow weight . Under no circumstances must you tow a loaded caravan that is heavier than your cars kerbweight .
The Astra estate is fairly light so you will be limited to what you can tow however some older 4 berths may be fit the bill or perhaps a 2 berth

Just to add to the confusion, a little used equation is the 40hp / tonne of gross train weight. (phew)
If your car + van weighs 2 tonnes, minimum power to "get along" would be 80hp, 3 tonnes would be 120hp etc

best to always check the max train wt .vehicle and trailer loaded.
an iveco 3,5ton pickup weighing 2ton unladen can pull 8.7 ton train wt so it puts the 80/85 percent rule in the bin.
never go higher than the train weight of towing vehicle .
or you will be commiting an offence.
