Has anyone towed with a 2.2 Omega auto, unit towed Sprite xl what are they like on hills

we have a bessacar 500gl and the omega handles it very well, the auto will change down fairly quickly on a hill but no problems, should handle your sprite very well.

Nice to have rear wheel drive when towing and the heavy car is good, the omega always had a very good ride anyway, if you are overtaking use the sport mode button it will hold the lower gear longer.

yes i had the omega 2.ltr petrol est auto.brilliant tow car.as i remember our van was 1100 kgs MTPLM.a good investment is an oil cooler on the auto.this protects the gearbox from overheating.

I've towed with two Omegas over the last 10 years-a 2.5 auto and now a 3.0auto. I fitted a Kenlowe kit to both-very eaay and worth the extra piece of mind.

Omegas are superb towcars-rock steady but a little thirsty!
