Hi,....I'm getting a 2001-model Ford galaxy 2300cc Ghia soon, and I'm worried about the Towbar which is detachable and has never been used,.... the Question is: I have a very old caravan , (26 years old) with Alco-hitch will it be OK  to use straight away ????

Detachable towbar will be swan neck so ok to use with Alko stabilizer hitch. Is it actually a stabilizer hitch or just a standard hitch?

You are ok then, standard hitch will go on any towball. Put some grease onto ball before you hitch up.
