I am thinking of getting a Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI to tow my Avondale Dart 470-4 MAW 1060 user payload 189 this is taken from the plate on the van. Any thought or suggestions most welcome.

The car will be legal to tow the 'van & probably a little over 85% of car kerbweight, so ok-ish.

Why not consider a Skoda Octavia 1.9 tdi, more room bigger boot and only group 6 insurance and £110 RFL

i tow lunar zenith 1150 with a focus 1.8 tdci ,had no probs ,been to the highlands for the last two years had no bother with the car
