Hi Peeps - I was fortunate enough to bag myself an ebay bargain on some Erde 102 load bars last week. This week however I've encountered trouble; I can't work out how to fit the things!! Looks like drilling the side panels might be an option but I don't want to ruin the trailer if I don't need to - anyone had experience of these before or know where I can get a set of instructions from? I've tried the usual avenues; emailing the guy who sold them to me, google etc but come up with nowt! Appreciate any help you can offer.

Over and Out!

You should have brackets that sit on the sides and they have clamps to secure them. No drilling needed.

I am sure that you are right and you do need to drill the side panel the brackets sit on the top of the side panel with a bolt above the side then there is a lower bolt that you do need to drill the side panel for.

I will find out tomorrow and add instructions if I have some.

I found some fitting instructions for the fitting of ABS load bars but not standard loadbars

you have to upload the picture to the web first onto a site like photobucket or you can add it to your gallery without doing this.

Bully1808 I have emailed the instructions

I also suggested to towing and trailers that they put all erde instructions on their site (erdetrailer.co.uk) starting with these.
