I have an Astra Estate which has a detachable towbar. Having just bought our first caravan we have been advised to get a stabiliser. Is there a way of doing this on a detachable towbar, as all of the brackets are under the bumper??
I'm sure there is a website but I don't know the link, and as I'm struggling with an iPad I couldn't post it anyway!
However, if you look on preloved .co.uk and put in ' bulldog stabiliser bracket' there are several for sale with photos so you know what you are looking for.
I Would advise against it if you are new to caravanning. If you make a mistake loading, they can mask the problem until it is too late. Before you part with your money, do a search in the forum for "stabiliser" or "stabilizer" and get the bigger picture.
