If the mirrors do not extend more than 250mmm beyond the width of the caravan, I believe that it is OK. I use the standard aero mirrors (which are excellent) and they are shown in various configurations of position of the fixings but usually with mirror inline with the existing car mirror. I have been fitting mine kicked up at a higher position than the car mirror as this eliminates a forward looking and wide blind spot. Your mirrors are different shape but I would do what's best for you. Unless someone knows different?

I tried just about every variation and ended up in the vertical beside the existing mirrors as I feel that it gives me a better view of the caravan wheel position on tight corners etc but I think it depends on the hight and mounting of the existing mirrors as to what is best and also what type of lens there is in the mirror. If I put a standard Aero on I have it horizontal

Another vote for the vertical from me hereward' I found they vibrated too much the way David Klyne uses his. I did replace the metal arms for the longer versions so that I could fix them farther apart on the mirror binacle giving me a more stable platform and full view down the van sides.
I have mine vertical (portrait) so I get a better view of the caravan on the road. Can also see the tyres when going around corners so can see they are ok.
We have the same mirrors.... they are brilliant. We use them in the horizontal position. Tried both but prefer them this way.
I find this gives me the best (wide) view across motorway lanes. I don't need them to see down to the wheel, because I angle the cars's mirrors so they are looking at the caravan front corner and wheels, and use the Milenco's for viewing lanes/traffic.
I wouldn't change to a different type of mirror, but I may consider swapping the passenger side from a flat to a convex glass.
I have always clamped my Milenco Grand Aero mirrors with the mirrors being horizontal as I want to see the side of my caravan and traffic approaching from behind plus all 3 lanes on the motorway. I have never tilted them vertical as I would have thought that fitting them this way you would see less of the approaching traffic and more tarmac and sky.
Having just had the 1st trip out with the caravan on the Santa Fe, I used the Grand Aeros as they came, in the horizontal position. I did wonder about changing them to the vertical, at least one of the pics on the box shows them like that.
What I did do, and found it worked well, was like Big Dan and adjusted the car's mirrors to show where the caravan's wheels were.

Can I fit milenco mirrors on the bottom of my door mirrors , as I want to fit blind spot mirrors on the top of my virata door mirrors.
my mirrors do not have blind spot parts.
We tried them on the bottom but noticed more vibration. However, give it a try yourself, and see how you get on. There is no standard way for their fitting, top/bottom vertical/horizontal, what ever works for you and gives you the best view.
