I'm tying to establish how much weight I am carrying in my trailer tent I know the best way is to put it on a weightbridge but for the time being would appreciate a guestimate of the weight I am carrying
Items being carried are
Fold up pinic table
Two fold up chairs
20 metres Ehu and cable tidy
Two burner gas stove
Awning with poles and pegs
Sun canopy
Duevet
Four pillows
Washing up bowl
Kettle
Small plastic container of tinned food
Mallet
Wheel ramps
I would have thought 150kg was well over the top but that's just my opinion. Assuming this stuff is not unusually heavy, my guess would be:
Fold up pinic table 5kg
Two fold up chairs 2kg
20 metres Ehu and cable tidy 5kg
Two burner gas stove 7kg
Awning with poles and pegs 15kg
Sun canopy 10kg
Duevet 2kg
Four pillows 1kg
Washing up bowl 1kg
Kettle 1kg
Small plastic container of tinned food 10kg
Mallet 2kg
Wheel ramps 1kg
Total 62kg
Ooops all those figures were in line in the compose reply window
Heres a spreadsheet we use. All the weights have been weighed ..... it isn't difficult to do. We put stuff in big supermarket bags and use a luggage scales.

I would estimate closer to 150 than 62.
Our awning weighs a lot more than 15kg, more than double that with pegs and poles included.
You don't give enough info for a proper estimate. Our awning could be twice the size of dave's. Etc etc

Awning is 235cm by 340cm, height is 210cm any other info required ?
Are you just trying to calculate your payload weight in a Cabanon Venus TT, or is this for another purpose?
Depending on age and if you have the DL, ex-works weight is:
Without kitchen (L) 272 kgs
With kitchen (DL) 332 kgs
... and max gross weight of either is 500kgs. So providing your extra's fall within the balance of the gross and respective ex-works weight, you're sorted.
While the figures I have given are only estimates, I would definately query some of your figures, alan. 6 kg for an empty aqua roll? 5 kg for an empty waste master? 5.5 kg for a sleeping bag and pillows? Even the double step I have I would guestimate at well under 3 kilos, probably around 1 kg. I guess it depends what your step is made of but an aqua rollor waste master are pretty constant.
