I have a 2006 130 TDCi and it's also blown black smoke under load, I've had it 3 1/2 years now, service history etc.

Regarding fuel additives I'd recommend Millers products, they're brilliant.

Well I had the EGR valve and manifold cleaned out, and found the turbo pipe had split
I've run a fuel treatment through it and it's getting a run up to beamish this weekend,
hopefully it's will get better than the 47MPG it got going to the NEC last Thursday.

I'm hoping it's closer to the 57-60 i'm used to. minus the smoke of course.
