M 10 = 49 Nm = 36 ft lbs

M 14 = 135 Nm = 99.5 ft lbs

M 16 =210 Nm = 155 ft lbs

alloy wheel nuts = 110 Nm

Are you saying that if a person is incapable of using a torque wrench it is their fault if the wheel falls off? I do several thousand miles in my car a year or more and in the past 45 years I have never had a wheel come off due to loose nuts.

Also don't forget to set the torque wrench back to 0 after use. It came as news to me recently as I had never done it. Shows I should read instructions from time to time.

When refitting your customer's wheels do you clean all mating surfaces & threads with solvent? In my experience it is better not to lubricate threads. I have never had a caravan wheel come loose.
