Hi all

We have a 2009 fiesta zetec s 1.6 tdci. We love the look of the camplets but when I've looked into it it says it'll tow a max of 750kg braked. Unbraked is blank. Does that mean we need a braked camplet even though it's unladen weight is 250kg laden 500kg?

Is it the standard 1.6TDCI or the Eco one?

Check your V5C (logbook) It will have the cars towing limits there.

I have a figure of 500kg unbraked. So your right on the legal limit.

But NEVER trust figures off the net. Your V5 and chassis plates are the figures teh police/VOSA etc will use.

Section O Will list unbraked and braked limits.

It's a standard 1.6tdci.

I did take the figure of the net. Didn't know the limits where on the V5 so thank you for that. I'll dig that out tonight.

The correct figures will be on a VIN type plate, often found at the bottom of the drivers side B post. It will have 5 weights on it. Post those and you will get an answer.
