Ideally you want to be at 85% of the vehicle's kerbweight for steady and safe towing. Assuming you have a 2007 5 door 1.6HDi 90 then the kerbweight is 1306kg, giving an 85% weight of 1110kg which is well over the MTPLM of 1250kg.
Personally I would suggest a lighter caravan or a heavier tow car.
