Just bought a Bailey pegasus.
Using a Honda CRV to tow, but noticed when connecting electrics to car, the Alko Stabilizer light on the van is not lit.
Thought the fault was with van at first, but when my friend connected his car it worked fine.
The Honda CRV has stability assist active when towing, i was wondering if this might be overriding the Alko system.
If anyone can shed any light on this i would be most grateful.

Check the towbar wiring - this happened to me and the fitter had not done the earthing properly on the 13 pin socket even though I had pointed out the need to do this as I had the ATC fitted.
We have a CRV 10 plate, and have a detachable tow bar with 13pin electrics and now issues, however a friend of our has the same tow car but with twin electrics and has also suffered electrical faults on the new van but was fine on the old tintent.

I have the same 13 pin detachable tow bar. I have since contacted the fitters and they have uprated my electric too 25amp apparently my 16 amp would just blow a fuse. They did an Alko test while i was there and it appeared to work.
Find out for defo when i pick up Tintent LOL. Tomorrow
