I have just fitted the electrics into my FL2 and when I hook up to any socket it pops out the side light then i have to reset the car (igntion on/off) then they work on car again till i plug in electics then off it goes again. Getting a bit fed up now with it and my head hurts, does any one have any ideas

Some cars require a higher rated fuse when a towing socket is fitted.

Others require a bypass relay. Did you use a bypass relay or use a dedicated wiring kit?

Double and triple check the wiring. Looking at the back of the socket its easy to wire it up backwards.

Start again. Connect the earth wire then do one wire at a time.

Did you use LR's own towing kit, or an after-market make?

it was after market, we fitted the relay it's all in the right places not funny now might have to head up to the LR garage. The sockets were pre wired might just take it all out and start again

The buzzer relay or the bypass relay?

Don't know about the FL2, but for the FL1 the LR part was cheaper than the aftermarket item!
