Hi
We are thinking of hitting the road with our first caravan after tenting before.
We have a Kia Sedona 2.9 which I think will pull most vans.
We foster 3 young children, so we need something 5 berth+, but dont know what to start looking for ie layouts, good quality makes, easy to tow (as first timers), single or twin axles etc.
Any help with any of this would be great please.
Thanks
we have three young children (ok 2 under 5's + 1 on the way) so went for a triple bunk. Choices are limited so it depends on what your budget is. If your new to towing put yourself through the very reasonably priced excellent Caravn club day and a half caravan course.
The best advice anyone ever gave me about buying a caravan is: Don't buy the biggest 'van you can find/ afford/ tow with your car/ fit in the garden/ etc., etc. Do buy the smallest one in which you can be comfortable.
It's a much more sensible way to tell the wood from the trees!
Hi
We dont have a large budget - about 5-6k. I was thinking of doing the caravan club course to make sure we can get it going backwards in the right direction - had a bit of difficulty with a horse box once!
