Hi all,

I tow with a sante fe, however the problem that I have is that the height of the towball is very low(detachable witter) which often results in the caravan jockey wheel grounding. Noseweight is ok, car sits level, does anyone have any experience of using the swan neck type detachable towbar and would it solve my problem?

Do you unbolt the wheel and raise it or just wind it up?

The towball height should be between 350mm - 420mm with a laden vehicle. And measured to the centre of the ball not the top. Approx 13.75inches and 16.5 inches.

So changing to a different style of towbar wont make much difference. If any difference.

What noseweight are you using and how much load are you putting in the car, Especially over and behind the axle.
