We have never had any problems with overheating when towing but if I did I would use it.Ian

I tried some of the stuff in a bottle that said it lowered the temp. It didnt.

Tried it on a watercooled computer also and it made zero difference.

But that was 250ml? i think you added to the coolant.

Not seen this stuff before. Prices?

Skodabob, first time I have seen this product. Looks good to me. Must be some type of oil or synthesised hydrocarbon. Worth trying in my opinion. The physics behind it does stack up.

its not cheap, approx £50 for the pre flush that you have to use first, then approx £60-70 for 5 litres of the waterless coolant, which means most folk would need x2 bottles at £130 ish....So a total of £180 for most engines, Thing I'll pass on it and use ELC that'll do the same job

On the show the cost of the fluid was given as £90. The system has to be drained, then another fliud used for a week to flush out any water and then the permanent system installed.

It was very impressive and non corrosive.

The motorsport world have been using a product called "Water wetter" for years to do exactly the same thing (and cheaper)

As stated on website, it is for use with classic vehicles. No modern vehicle used within its' limits even towing should overheat. When towing up European mountain passes for example, the technique is to keep engine revving in low gear to keep water circulating & put heater on full if temp starts to climb.

If you have problems overheating when towing then you probably have something wrong with the cooling system. At that price, you don't want to be topping it up.

I'll be sticking to anti freeze. Contrary to what it's name suggests, it also helps with cooling and contains a corrosion inhibitor. It's also a lot cheaper.
