Would not have thought it a problem as long as it hasn't been thrashed. LDV's were not the best vans around and tend to be a bit lower geared.
Is it a van or a minibus. Would not be a great combo if a minibus once loaded but adequate enough (if you know what I mean). You won't be 1st to the top of the hill.

What is the gross train weight of the van? What is the kerbweight of the van? What is the mtplm of the caravan? If we have these details we will be able to give better advice.

Just a note
If its a panel van some sites will class it a commercial vehicle and will not allow you on site with it, if its a minibus (ie more than an 8 seater) you should have a MIDAS certificate( Competency test for driving a minibus up to 3.5 tonnes)

Is the MIDAS Certificate only for 'hire or reward' minibus driving? If so, if PLG would not be required.
Also, per 1997 licence holders I thought were exempt from this.

Ideally, for stable towing your caravan when fully loaded should be 85% of the towing vehicle's kerb weight.
Based on the kerb weight given of 1726kg, you could happily tow 1460kg so your caravan being 1366kg would indicate a good match.------------- Helen xx

Just make sure you ask the sites when booking. Even adding windows they may class it as a van or commercial and not allow it.
Only takes a few seconds to ask. Better than getting turned away with nowhere else to go except home.

There is a little utilised rule of thumb that says that you need a minimum of 40hp per tonne just to keep going.
So, applying this to you your figures;
LDV Kerb weight of 1725kg + hypothetically a payload of 500kg = 2225kg
Now add 'van at say, 1350kg: This gives a total 'train weight' of 3575kg.
Applying 40hp per tonne rule (40 x 3.575) suggests a minimum hp requirement of 143hp.
On this basis, if max 95hp is available, suggestive that power well below what you need.

I agree, it's grossly underpowered. You might be OK but it will be hard work wherever you go, and you will wear the van out at an alarming rate.
You need at least half as much power again, on top of what you have.

Is the MiDAS Certificate only for 'hire or reward' minibus driving? If so, if PLG would not be required.
MiDAS certificate is required when not driving for hire or reward, Must have part D1 on licence to drive for hire or reward and can only drive minibuses up to 3.5 tonnes MAM (4.25 tonnes if wheelchair accessible)
