The XC90 is an old design way overdue for replacement, they aren't great to drive and you have to buy one at over 40K before you get satnav!
After a day with one, we stuck with Mercedes

Guess all modern cars these days are electronic this that the other, to do owt you have to 'plug it in first - then....
One way of keeping main 'stealers' going rather than being able to fix it yourself....

Bought one then ?------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Not sure why folks are saying 180bhp isn't enough for towing a big caravan?
We have a V8 Discovery on LPG and its nominal bhp is about 183bhp, we tow a large 6-wheel turntable drawbar trailer that is always at the 3.5tonnes limit when we tow it to Holland and to UK shows, and it has never been an issue on lack of power.
The Discovery is 2.2tonnes by itself, plus us and luggage etc, so by comparison a caravan should be fine.

That was me, but not quite what I said. The caravan at 1800kg is the lightest thing I tow. When you add a steep slipway and a heavy boat you need all you can get.
Of course I could manage with 180, but I much prefer to have the extra 60.
No such thing as too much power.

No worries Peter. I've always been a bit unusual and do several things at the same time.
We all drive what we want do drive, subject to cost, of course.
