hello all ive recently got a second hand stabiliser and realised that i need to purchase the spacer kit to enable me to fit it to the 35mm shaft on the van the spacer kit arrived today but there was no fitting instructions with it.It looks easy enough to work out but in the kit there is a large what can only be described as a spring washer which is slightly smaller than the van shaft and i was wondering if anybody new what this is for (i thought it maybe for securing the gater some how but im not sure.
There's no 35mm. shaft as far as I'm aware. They are either 47mm. 48mm. or 50mm. The kit should comprise of all 3 shells (spacers) to accommodate the size shaft on the caravan plus a steel dowel to retain the damper when exchanging the hitch.
