we have nissan vanette having trouble getting mirrors for towing any ideas

I have milenco aero ones - they clamp to the vehicle mirror housing. They don't use straps and so far I have fitted them to 4 very different cars with no troubles at all. Google them for more info. They give good rearward vision and seem to be well made and have served me well for many years.

We use the suck it and see type, While some struggle with them ours have been perfect for the last four years

Not sure which model vanette you have but ifyou have large "van"type mirrors, google Maypole towing mirrors. They have big rectangular types which would suit. Available on ebay for about £23

If you have more conventional car type mirrors I use Millenco Aeros and would recommend them. A bit more expensive but very good indeed. Hope it helps a fellow Nissan user  17
