Having not used my viking fibreline caravan since I was pregnant (my daughter is now 18 months) I have since had to change cars. I now have a vauxhall astra and it is fine to tow the weight of the caravan.

I have been quoted £280 by a local firm to fit a tow bar and was just wondering if this was a reasonable price? I am in the Bucks area.

sounds about the going rate 3 people i know have just had them done all within £30 of that price

Great, thanks. Its a 2009 astra and the tow bar has twin electrics as the caravan has a 3 way fridge. Many thanks for your replies

You will want the dedicated loom them so that bumps the price up a fair bit.

Simple plug in job, Not having to connect each wire with solder or scotchloks.
Less risk to CANBUS systems with bulb failure etc.
