hi
just come back from our yearly family hols to france and thought i would say how impressed i was with our old c class merc. we have a avondale dart 515 and drove 1500 miles in total. i replaced the shocks before we left and fitted spring assitors as the merc is not as big as our toyota hiace windtourer we have used before. but she drove spot on and delivered a very impressive 33mpg over the total trip (4 tanks of fuel). much better then i expected and even after 10 hours driving i felt good on arrival in limoges.
just thought i would post this as mercs our often overlooked as tow cars.
