oh no, its just broken, hitched up ready to go, wheel wouldnt move while trying to wind it up the handle snapped off 17  its now in pieces on the drive and i am now very p*****d off.

Any caravan shop can sell you a new one.

From £15 on ebay.

If you wind them down too far the threads can fall out.


Use the steadies to support the van when hitching and unhitching. Wind them down just enough so that the van doesnt drop hard when you unhitch.

If you cannot lift it off the towball get someone to stand in the back of the van to act as a lever for you.

You only need the legs to be 4" or 6" or so off the ground.

Then replace the jockey wheel when you have setup.
