Or even consider the Skoda Octavia Estate 4x4, plenty of load and carry space.
The 2.0TDi engines are very good, plenty of torque and smooth power, the 4x4 system is Haldex on demand used by other makes of cars. I have the 140 (138bhp) with the Yeti you have a choice of the 140 or 170(168Bhp)

Hi

I Have towed a folding camper with yetis. One was the 1.6greenline diesel and the other was the 2litre 110hp diesel.

And I found them to be okay, the folding camper was 1000 kgs in weight.

If you are towing a caravan I would stick to the 2litre 110 or the higher output versions, but then you will need to look at the 4x4 versions

A mate used to work for VW; he has had Seats for as long as they are VW shared platforms; swears by them.

Has the late shape Seat Exeo TDI; looks very similar to an A4, common rail injection.

Seems a very nice motor; tows his boat very well. Think its 170bhp; very strong pulling.

Love my Yeti 170 TDi ... perfect car for us. Will probably swap it for a facelifted one in March.

Exeo is a nice car though ... pity Seat didn't push it more really.

The Skoda Octavia is exactly the same vehicle, but with different body panels, and with a hatch instead of a cramped boot access
