The Mondeos of that age, are the ones with the rear subframe problems due to the bushes perishing, and cost an arm and a leg to rectify, also the rear brake calipers have a problem

I had the bushes done on my 55 plate Mondeo, it was done by the local Fraud dealer ( a large concern ) and the cost was about £210 , i can not be more specific as I no longer have the car and the garage receipts eent with it. I would hardly call this an arm and a leg. The cost to have the flywheel and clutch replaced was quoted as £600 when I enquired at a time when I was considering whether to keep the car or sell it.
