Whats the all up gross weight of the outfit just out of interest? A little over 4 ton maybe?
3.5tonne maximum with load, the Ruston engine and trolley is about 1.3 tonnes.
You need power brakes to go over that weight and a truck to pull it.

peter, go to www.brigade-electronics.com and search the online catalogue you will find wireless units for camera and monitor. i use there camera systems hard wired for all my artic hgv trailers and get cracking picture quality
Cheers, Steve, they have quite a comprehensive range, but are very cagey about prices, looks like we have to go through a dealer to get any more info, they don't appear to deal directly now.
I've had mine for nearly a year, no problems (except SD card).
I'm guessing they pulled it because of the issues I had trying to get one into the country, Pittasoft did not want them to leave Korea, the new version is the same with an additional (de)feature: it will not allow you to change the operating language - so all Korean market cams will likely stay in Korea.
We have just got back from a 2000 miles trip to Holland (Nuenen engine show) and a run down to Carpentras in southern France.
The dash cam worked very well indeed, and we have saved about 85gb of files to look back through and edit/save later.
The rear view camera was really useful, let down a bit by sensitivity of the system to engine interference, probably alternator, and a variance in colour rendering after a long run, so that colours are not rendered correctly.
On the road it was very good to be able to see cars tucked tightly behind at traffic lights or in queues, and even with the problems mentioned, I'd still have it for the extra security it gives.
Of the two cameras fitted, one seems to have failed completely, but I haven't been in the back to check out the connectors, so possibly it is just an RCA connector come adrift. The monitor flying connector proved unreliable and very easily damaged, so it is taped up for now but we will make it a solid connection later.
The dashcam was useful and nice to look through the videos after a long day and reflect on some of the sights and scenes you had driven through, plus you can click the playback screen and take a high-res image straight off the screen.
Only got back last night so have a few things to do, but overall very pleased with the cameras front and back.
