Can anyone reccomend somewhere to fit a towbar or have any experience of fitting one to a mk3 mondeo tdci I'm located in Wolverhampton West Midlands

think im nowgoing to buy and fit myself as i can get a car specfic wiring loom that plugs in but how do i iwre uo the 2nd 12volt socket

Be wary of used ones that are not complete.

Towequipe in Nuneaton. Bought the last 6 or 7 towbars from them. The last one they fitted for me also.

£150 supplied and fitted if you haggle a bit. Get it done before the rush starts. Prices will go up.

Fitting is easy you just need to cut a square hole in the rear undertray. Everything else is there.

No need for a dedicated loom on the MK3. I fitted several MK3 towbars with good old scotchloks.

so should be good with just scotchlocks the cool how is a 2nd socket wired up and what is its purpose

The grey socket charges the caravan battery and runs the fridge. I dont have one and never used it when i did have one.

I dont like running the fridge on the move and my battery is always fully charged before we set off anyway.

Ok thank you I may well undertake the task of fitting this myself then as the holes are already in the chassis for the tow bar and there is a grommet to run the cables through if I can scotch lock the wiring I'm laughing

I have had towbars fitted by CDF towbars for years and never had a problem. The bonus is they will fit it where ever you want them to.

Nope, Most have them on the back but some have them on the front
