Purchased an ALKO 3004 on ebay as wanted to get away from using the snakemaster.
We have a 1997 Elddis EX300, and on taking the hitch off of the caravan, there is only one side bolt, not the two that the ALKO needs, but there is also a bolt that goes from top to bottom.
I would attach a photo, but have never been able to work out how to post photos on here.......
Therefore i cant see how it would fit......??
Have I just wasted shed loads of money????

Your Elddis has BPW chassis with the hitch bolt configuration as described. Al-ko hitches usually have vertical bolt hole as well as 2 horizontal to allow fitting to BPW chassis. Does your hitch not have this?

No need to put it back in eBay, the Alko has the vertical hole, so it will fit.....

Alko stabiliser hitch can fit BPW chassis just as well, it is designed to fit both as op has now discovered.
