Hi, just wondered if anyone had any experience of towing with a vw touran 1.9 tdi? Have recently purchased my first caravan a 2 berth swift coronette diamond with a max load weight of 1100 kg.

Hi I have towed with the 2 litre tdi (140bhp) and the van was 1200 loaded plus the car loaded with 2 adults 2 kids and full boot. It towed like a dream, very stable and had no issues with hill starts or long hills etc.
Good choice IMO.
