Hi, I have recently changed my tow car, from a Picasso to a zafira 07. my towing mirrors fit with two clamps on the top part of the mirror casing and two rubber straps around the outside and hooked on the bottom of the mirror casing.
The Zafira mirror casing seems to be to thick at the top to accept the clamps, although they will clamp to the bottom. The only drawback is I have to have the mirrors on a downward crank of the mirror arm instead of up which normally keeps the mirror in line with the door mirrors themselves. Which means i'm looking down at the mirror thus taking my eyes further away than I would like from the forward view. Anyone have any suggestions or alternative mirror that won't cost an arm and a leg to buy, looked at the sucker type and not keen on them. Thanks.
P.S forgot to add the offside is convex as it stands and didn't want to swap it to the near side.
albee you just won a chocolate biscuit. It was about the only thing I didn't look at, they weren't supposed to come off but they have and gone back as good as new........Thanks
