I am looking at buying an insignia for caravan towing but cannot decide on the model The cdi sri sports model which has hardened and lower suspention ,but also low profile tyres , or the exclusive. Thanks in advance for your replies

How firm do you like your suspension?

Sometimes they go too far and the cars bounce over the potholes rather than absorb the bumps.

You need to test each one over some bumpy roads.

I don think it makes any difference to towing to be honest. I'd go with what you prefer as a ride. I have driven one with sports suspension ( Sri ) and it was bone jarring to be honest. Reminded me of my old 330 m sport bmw.

hi just bought a

2011 insignia sports tourer 4x4 exclusive with 18" wheels.

I havent towed with it yet but the ride is very good solo not far off the mondeo i used to have, it has the adaptive suspension, sports / tourer and standard settings but to be honest i cannot tell much if any difference in the ride.
