We have a little 4 x 3 trailer. When it's hitched up I can't see it behind the car. Is this illegal. What could I do so I can see it

I'm not sure it is illegal and is really only a problem when reversing.

If you want to see it you need to make it higher in some way. A ladder rack on the front?

I have an Audi Q5 with tints. So ideally i would need one that is removable and that will not damage the tint. Or another option ?

The time to panic is when you do see it in the mirror. Its either bouncing or fallen off.

Adding a pole to the rear corners can help. Just tall enough to see in your mirror and pop a little ball on top if needed.
