If your going to fit one would fit the 2004/3004, It damps in both directions the 1300 has a lower max weight limits and only damps in one direction.

I paid £200 for the complete 3004 kit including lock etc. That was brand new. With all the bolts and spacer plates for different sized drawbars.

Dunno about the price but fitting is easy. AKS 1300 is for caravans up to 1360kg. See the 2 horizontal bolts on your existing hitch? remove those to remove hitch & fit Al-ko hitch in its place. Front eye of hitch damper inside draw tube is located with rear bolt so you need to ensure rear bolt goes back through this so ensure hitch is fully extended when doing the job.

Depending on diameter of draw tube you may need reducer as well, these are supplied as part of kit if you buy hitch new so if secondhand you need to ensure it is included, otherwise you will have to buy the part if needed.
