Hi Folks,

I am interseted in returning to caravans, but I now use a white unmarked van as my everyday vehicle (just because I like vans). I have heard rumours that a lot of parks won't let me on due to me looking like a new age traveller etc. Anyone any experience of this?

I have heard this and also seen mention of the fact in site rules.  Never had a van for towing so no 1st hand experience.  Bets I can suggest is for you to contact some sites and see what they say.

I think it may be best to book ahead and mention it when booking. Some sites can be funny about it but I believe there are many who aren't.

i think some sites take exception to sign written 'vans so,like said ,ring ahead just to check and explain to the site.
