I have got a 1994 sterling Europa 500L Classic and the numbers on the plate at the side of the door are
1150Kg
260Kg
And I'm thinking of changing my car for a Ford Focus 2.0 tdci titanium x manual gearbox with a max towing weight braked of 1500Kg would it be suitable?

Is there a digit missing? 1150kg MIRO or unladen and 1260kg laden?

The focus may have a max tow of 1500kg but that maybe above its kerbweight.

Before you buy it check the bumper is suitable for a towbar without cutting it.
