Hi, We are looking at ordering one of these to tow our Bailey Pageant Bretagne.
Does anyone have one of these, and would you recommend the powershift auto ahead of the manual (just spend a grand on a new clutch in an 08 smax!)------------- Billingshurst 28/4-1/5 and 6/5-7/5

We have a 60 plate S-Max and find it is a great tow car. The only thing you have to watch out for is the tow ball weight - 90Kg for fixed towball and 80Kg for the detachable. For that reason alone we are looking at possibly upgrading to Sorento KX-3/4------------- Nick

180 PS is the new shape, however I have the 64 plate 163PS and love it. Was specific I chose the manual, as heard stories (possibly from here) that powershift needed more care than Ford suggested it did. 80kg nose weight was enough for me. ------------- 2019: Hurn Lane CAMC, Cirencester Park CAMC & Lytton Lawn

80kg was plenty for our TT as well. Baileys are nose heavy and every extra kg helps------------- Nick

Well it looks like we are doing a complete 180 and going for a Kia Sorento. As much as we like the S-Max, the Kia edges it.------------- Billingshurst 28/4-1/5 and 6/5-7/5
