3 possible routes apparently; which is best for towing? We would be staying at either Cowdale Hall or Topley Head Farm, both off the A6 on the far side of Buxton coming this way.

Hi
I would go M1 to juction 28, A38 to Ripley then A610 to Ambergate then up A6 to Buxton, its a better road than the 515 Ashbourne to Buxtonm esp if you are not used to the area. Be careful what time you hit junc 24 above, can be a nightmare at tea time.

There are other routes before Ripley but this is easier.

I know! all routes from Luton say A515 and not A6, we have been most of that way before, M1, A50, A515.
