We shall be towing to Oxford .( Woodstock )
I have looked at route planner and there have given me a few options.
M4 to Swindon to j18 then to Oxford .
Or
To Cheltenham and the ,A40 towards Oxford.
Any experience of towing either of these roads.
At the moment I am thinking the M4 .
Or the M4 to j13 then the A34 to Oxford. Hoping this will be dual carriage way .
I have also looked on google maps.

I would be inclined towards M4/A34. The A34 is a good dual carriageway. The A40 is the most scenic but the slowest I should think.

Thank you I think I will take the A34 then decide which way to return . I don't mind it being a bit further as long as it's easier driving . Duel carriageway is always best so that people can pass if need be .
M4 t0 junction 15 then A419 then A420 for Oxford then A34 on to woodstock all these roads are fine for towing and going this way avoids the A34 accident black spots which can have you stationary for hours
